Finally I can use my old Canon 50mm f/1.8 as a fast portrait lens on my Sony APS-C body, and the autofocus is snappy enough for casual shooting. The extra stop of light from the 0.71x reduction really helps in low-light situations.

Got this for my a6000 and the 0.71x reduction really brings vintage Canon glass to life on the smaller sensor, sharpness is still solid even wide open.

Finally got it to work with my old Canon 50mm f/1.4, and the 0.71x reduction gives me a much wider field of view on my Sony APS-C body. The autofocus feels a little slower than native glass, but for the price it’s a solid way to use my EF lenses.
