Der speziell geformte Schirm aus widerstandsfähigen Aluminium wurde innen mit einer reflexionsstarken Beschichtung versehen, die das Licht genau im 55 Grad Winkel zerstreut und gleichzeitig einen mittigen Schwerpunkt setzt. So entsteht ein Lichtkegel mit vergleichsweise hartem Rand, der zur Mitte hin stärker wird.
